Samantha & Kevin

When Samantha met Kevin at work, she said, “I immediately noticed his gorgeous eyes and adorably sweet smile, but was soon distracted and pleasantly surprised to know that he was smart, funny, and shared many of my outlooks on life. He was such a sweetheart, and I couldn’t believe that a guy this perfect could exist.” Needless to say, the two hit it off early on. Kevin said, “When I first met Sam, I couldn’t help, but notice her sweet disposition and beautiful smile. She was always so happy and positive. I have never met someone who had the ability to instantly make me feel like I didn’t have a care in the world. The moments I spent with her, nothing else mattered. She was a ray of sunshine, and I had to know more.” The two are so obviously, and adorably, in love….it was such a joy for us to capture. At first glance, Kevin is all tough guy, and while you probably don’t want to be on his bad side, he clearly has a huge soft spot for Samantha and simply melts when he talks about her and is in her presence. The two are self described nerds, all though you would never guess it when you meet them, they love watching nerdy movies, going to comic conventions, and watching shows, and collecting art that is comic related. They are both dog lovers and very active. They take their 85lb pit bull “Kora” for hikes, they go to the gym, and travel to different places to explore new adventures. A few months ago, Kevin knew it was time to pop the question and asked a family friend to take pictures of the two for Christmas. Samantha wasn’t feeling very photogenic that day and told Kevin that she “wasn’t feeling it.” She thought he was acting strange and noticed he was distancing himself from her all day and was so stiff and quiet during the shoot that she knew something was up. During the shoot, Kevin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, Samantha was so excited, and relieved, and said “YES!!” They are having so much fun planning the wedding and we can’t wait! When we talked to them about the wedding, they had so many fun, creative, and uniquely nerdy accents, we can’t wait to capture their special day and share it with you. We had so much fun during their engagement shoot and are so pleased that they said “Katie and Andy captured our love for each other, as well as our love for our mutual hobby so perfectly!” They can’t wait to see all of their family and friends in the same room and the same time celebrating their love, and of course, they can’t wait to party the night away and we can’t wait to capture it all!!
